Summary: Individuals in the job are responsible for assisting Tropical Financial Credit Union in the achievement of its purpose of guiding members successfully through the financial marketplace. This position is responsible for supporting the credit union with the design of hard and soft copy products, including web sites as well as a wide range of routine-to-complex projects which include: Web design, publications, brochures, take ones, posters, plasmas screen story boards, etc. In addition this position is also responsible for monitoring and updating as necessary all TFCU Social Media sites; this includes the tracking, reporting and analysis of usage by different sources, e.g., Google.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide service that meets the Service Standards defined by TFCU as measured by the Internal Service Survey; annual goals are established through the Performance Management Process.
Creates and designs the day-to-day advertising of Credit Union products and services, in accordance with the Marketing Plan, in order to meet Credit Union loan and deposit growth goals.
Consults with design, technical marketing and compliance staff and/or vendors to plan website development for TFCU's Internet website and Marketing's Intranet site.
Refreshes website content to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information and images.
Collaborates with external vendors on special web site events, promotions, marketing campaigns, or specific design projects.
Designs and updates scheduling of plasma screen story boards.
Designs and updates e-statement notifications.
Assists in the development of promotional strategies and product development.
Serves as liaison between Credit Union and advertising agencies, freelance talent, direct mail houses, printers, and other types of agencies and services.
Coordinates the planning and implementation of marketing promotions with appropriate managers, and communicates important details to all staff in a timely manner.
Prepares Marketing Activity Reports which also includes social media analytics.
BSA Compliance: every employee is required to uphold the credit union's compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and anti-money laundering policies and procedures. Specific functions within TFCU will take into consideration the awareness of unusual or suspicious activity that is relevant to the department.
In addition to any other assigned training courses, online BSA and OFAC courses must be completed at least annually, as made available by the Training and/or Compliance Departments.

Minimum requirements include a bachelor's degree in graphic design or marketing with a strong emphasis on graphic design. Minimum 3 years graphic design experience. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Quark, Illustrator, Publisher, and PowerPoint is required. Front Page, Dreamweaver and Flash also are used. Familiarity with HTML, digital file formats (tiff, gif, eps, pdf, jpg) and a comprehensive knowledge of graphic design principles and production methods also are needed. Additionally, candidates must possess basic knowledge conventional and digital print processes.
Ability to initiate and implement multiple, complicated projects.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends and write reports, business correspondence, and procedures.
Ability to design and copywrite marketing collateral for print media and web environment.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, members,
and the general public.
Ability to work with math concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Incumbent must be available to work extended or unusual hours to attend business and community association
meetings and appointments which may occasionally be located in undesirable areas.
Successful incumbents are innovative, self-starters, independent, highly creative workers with good follow-up
skills, energetic, organized and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
